The main theme (and Memento Mori, which is just a reprise of the main theme) sounds a little bit better here than it did previously:

However, the fact that it's very unoriginal and generic hasn't changed. I'd be okay if that music was in the title screen, but I don't want to hear it in-game.
You guys should focus more on Roc Chen, he appears to have more talent when it comes to tracks suitable for M&M.

Then it's your lucky day since Jason's music is indeed used only on the title screen and in cutscenes, not during the game itself ;)
In any case, Ubisoft had nothing to do with this concert. Playfest invited Jason and offered to play his music. Which is actually why we're only learning about it now :)

I like the Memento Mori to be in the middle of the game for a suspense story.

MARZHIN93, why are not present the composers Paul Romero and Bob King or even Steve Bacca? The music on previous MM and Heroes game is epic and memorable. For the moment, the soundtrack of MMX of Roc Chen and Graves are far of the magneficence of the previous composers of the saga. Thank you for reply my answer :)

When we started working on MMXL, Rob King told us he wanted to take a break from video game fantasy music in order to work on a rock album (being a rock musician before anything else). At the same time, Paul Romero was busy with his "Vampyres" and "Gods & Mortals" projects. So it seemed a good opportunity to try something different for this game.
That said, we're still in touch with Rob & Paul and will certainly involve them on future Might & Magic projects, if they're interested of course ;)

I actually rather like the main theme, although it might be a bit biased since part of it was used in the trailer and I was so ridiculously excited when I first saw that. It kind of stuck with me I suppose.
