I think that the main them by Jason Graves is a little too classical ... Nothing bad, but nothing good ... it does not make me feel something particular and i dont remember the melody afer listening it ... Does not make me dream...
The second sample, Morning in khartal, is far more interesting ... The second i listened to it, i was transported into the game ... it made me feel like playing older MM, and that's a good point

The 2nd track (Morning in Karthal) however is great, and I can really imagine how it supports the mood in the game.

Morning In Karthal sounds good to me! Certainly not as good as King/Romero, but I'll take it!

Main theme is really too classical for me ... Got the feeling that i heard it dozens of time before in other movies/games, although it is the first time i listen to it ...
The second is far more immersive and ... magical ;)
Well maybe you could give us a sample where the main theme will be played ? Like main menu or else ?

These are the honest opinions of the fanbase, who greatly outnumber you and the rest of the development team, and upon whom your salary and future job security depends. Don't just sweep them under the rug.

The main theme made me feel like flying over a mystical landscape and "morning in karthal" gave me the shivers because it sounded so oldschool with that special touch...
By the way I think telling the truth is the main reason for this platform BUT I am sure everyone here can tell us his/her opinion without being rude or disrespectful ;)

Haha you know what, you're exactly right! Without having re-listened to the tracks, I can still remember what Morning In Karthal sounded like. But the main theme, I can't remember any of it. All they have to do is hire a deep-sounding male actor to do a voiceover and voilà, it's exactly like every single movie trailer that has ever been made.
If that isn't a true testament to just how bland and cookie-cutter Main Theme was, I don't know what is.
