Vote #2: Your Dungeon!

Which type of dungeon do you like best? The moldy and narrow castle? The mysterious and picturesque ruins? Or the glorious palace? Make your pick!

The vote will be open for one week. As soon as we know the result, we will go into further detail and ask you for help again with the dungeon fine tuning.

I like the way the palace looks. There is something nice and unsual about it. I would be happy with the ruins as well. The castle set isn't bad, it just seems that there are so many castles in RPGS. Si I chose C just barely over B.

Choices 1 and 2 are very classic, the palace on the other hand is "fresher".

all options are great but B for me looks fantastic and very atmospheric. I hope there's each type of a dungeon in the final game, they're all awesome.

Actually, this is a hard vote because not all dungeons must follow Option A or Option B or Option C. It should follow where's the dungeon located, and what sort of creatures dwell in it. So, it should be a mixture of any of the 3.

We didn't get to remake a classic dungeon so I have voted for castle in the hope they can make it exactly like Harmondale.

Its B for me, there´s something epic about it, while giving a good sense of danger.
Sure A is overdone, but this is the way old castles look in their basements, so I think it has its proper place in the game.

Actually, I would prefer a combination of C and B. Mostly C (because I loved the Castles and Castle-like buildings in the old M&M games) but with a B-type “basement.” (Like the “Temple of Dark” from 7 or “Lair of the Wolf” from six.)--
B does remind me more of the “Temples” from the old games, so I won’t be broken hearted if the vote continues to go that way.--
And I agree with those that say A is overdone. It seems like the majority of games these days are made up of dark dank tunnels.

I'm for palace.
Castle is too narrow and as "we've already seen a lot of them". Ruins are quite mysterious, but also it's some dark place and there shouldn't be a lot of ruins in game - they are good while there aren't much of them. So my choose is palace. Quite unusual, broad place that will be fun to explore.

Had to make a really though choice between A and C. Normaly i love castle enviroments since it is one of my favorite sets in RPGS but lately i felt i have seen a bit many of them in games (Skyrim,Grimrock,Amnesia,Etc) and i really want this game to sucseed.

So i chose C since it seems like the most refreshing set for a new epic game:D

And it would likely reduce the amoungt of ignorant players shouting ''Grimrock/skyrim/amnesia ripoff!'' But those will most likely always appear anyway :P

Palace is unusual/uncommon, I go for C and it suits the M&M style.
I just wonder what monsters could lurk in there, noblemen and maids?

I like how it was in previous games of MM:
If we come in a castle, it looks like castle (remember Kriegspire)
If we come in a dragon's cave, there should be a cave
Some places should be more detailed, others - less. + good music and it creates an incredible atmosphere to immerse you in this feeling of MM, the game, which you will play again and again and again

Not A. Anything but A, guys. There's already Legend of Grimrock for all your narrow corridors' needs, let's get something refreshing. Ruins reminds me of Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls in general, which is cool. Palace is the most intriguing, and indeed feels like roaming the temples and palaces of M&M6.

Yes there are things that one wants to see and yes we want to have fun in the game but we must not to fall into something too recurring. Palace is one that attracts me the most.

Choice C is interesting, to move away from the standards, but some Shantiri Ruins / epic loot seems more in line with M&M Lore ;)

My main problem with the Ruins style is all the holes in the floor.. Can I jump that? Am I close enough to the edge? If I have to do a running jump, when exactly do I need to hit the spacebar? Oh damn, fell. *tromp tromp tromp* Let's try again!
